Building Champions, Building Futures
Beyond Education Sports Foundation (BESF) is a registered charity (1197957) and the charitable arm of Evolution Sports Group, delivering targeted community, mental health, and youth prevention programmes across Brent and Barking & Dagenham. In 2023, we experienced remarkable growth and impact, serving 1,000 youth participants across our flagship programmes—London Youth, Sport in Mind, Cycling & Walking project, and Lost Hours—exceeding our target by 100% and contributing significantly to a healthier and more active community. We've transformed over £82,000 in funding into measurable impact, demonstrating exceptional value for money and outstanding outcomes for young people. We are proud to manage the successful London Youth Premier League Showcase, London's premier youth football development league, with over 1,000 young people participating across London every week during the 2025-2026 season.
Investment & Impact (2022-2024)
Transforming public funding into measurable community impact
Our Mission
To advance and promote community development by providing young people with access to facilities, training and opportunities to participate in sport, leisure, volunteer activities and vocational training courses.
Our Vision
A world where every young person has the opportunity to develop their full potential through sport, education, and community engagement, creating stronger, more resilient communities.
Proven Impact & Outcomes
All programmes delivered free of charge, ensuring accessibility for all beneficiaries.
Compliance & Safeguarding
Registered with Charity Commission (1197957), Ofsted Volunteer Register, and maintaining full compliance with charity law, safeguarding requirements, and best practice governance. All staff and volunteers are DBS checked and receive comprehensive safeguarding training.
Public Benefit & Accountability
We demonstrate clear public benefit through reduced youth crime, prevention of school exclusions, improved mental health, and enhanced community safety. Full Charity Commission compliance, transparent financial reporting, and robust governance ensure accountability to funders, beneficiaries, and the wider community.
Value for Money
Our programmes deliver exceptional value: preventing permanent exclusions (saving £15,000-£20,000 per young person), reducing youth offending (preventing costs of £200,000+ per serious offence), and improving mental health outcomes. Every pound invested delivers measurable social return and community benefit.
